U.S Elite International Track and Field, Inc. was established by Treisha and Keishia Thorpe in October 2005.  It is comprised of athletes who have a passion for the sport of track and field and wish to continue to excel in this sport during and after their collegiate years and into elite competition.  The Liaison International Program was developed a year later to encourage and assist college-bound track and field student athletes with their college matriculation process and to compete at the collegiate level while pursuing their educational goals.  The organization has launched other programs that help student-athletes become involved in their communities and also to increase their likelihood of attending and graduating college. So far, the organization has assisted over 50 students in acquiring 100% scholarship awards to top colleges and universities from which several students have successfully graduated with bachelor degrees and as All-American titles in track and field with an average GPA of 3.5.

In 2008, U.S. Elite incorporated in the State of Maryland.  In 2009, U.S. Elite attained its 501(c)(3) non-profit tax exempt status as a charitable organization.  The organization is 501(c)3 non-profit organization; all charitable donations are tax deductible; and all services provided are FREE.

U.S. Elite International Track and Field, Inc. also acts as a Liaison between domestic college coaches and domestic and international high school athletes.  Most young athletes have great talents and promising track and field futures.  U.S. Elite strives to assist these athletes to perform to their maximum potential.  We endeavor to promote scholarship, sportsmanship, leadership, and healthy athletes while supporting their transition from high school to college through athletic and academic excellence.

U.S. Elite has 9 programs: Elite Track and Field Program, Liaison International Program, Jestina Daley Scholarship Award, Health and Wellness Program, Internship Program, Teach One, Lead One: A Literacy Initiative, Community Service Program, Coaches Training Program, and the U.S. Elite Annual Athletic Convention.

The U.S. Elite Annual Athletic Convention 2014 is FREE and open to the general public.  Even though we are a track and field organization, the convention is geared towards all high school and community college student athletes of all sports. Guest speakers for this year will include those from local universities.  The program is supported by local businesses such as Shopper’s Food Warehouse in Largo, Chick-Fil-a at the Capital Center Boulevard, Wegman’s at the Woodmore Center, Giant Foods, Pacers Running Store.
