Congratulations on a successful showing at Russell E Blunt East Coast Invitational to Shaun Miller and Dylan Beard, they added to their medal collection and Shaun brought home a PR in the 1500m.

Well that's a wrap! We did it and we'd like to thank Coppin State University Track & Field staff for their hospitality this summer.
The coaching staff isn't done yet, we've plenty to do planning for the athletic and scholarship convention in Jamaica on Oct 31 2015 - Nov 3rd 2015
We really enjoyed our summer 2015 season. We can't wait to start 2016 two steps ahead, our next destination: US Virgin Islands March 2016. Stay tuned for details and fundraising info to follow.. until then, study hard and have a great school year.
It's Meet Week here on the Juniors Team, we are doubling up and feeling strong.
Last week, Shaun Miller (400m, 800m) did not advance as we expected to in the AAU rounds, as expected. However he ran a gutsy race and placed some strategy into it. We are proud about that as this is only his sophomore effort in the event. As things fall into place it will all "click". He'll be focusing on the 1500 the remainder of the summer.
Today at the Summer Track Series, Nighel Scott brought the field down in a surge in the last 70 meters to win the 200m in 22.84a. Nihgel warmed up in the 400m only 30 mins before cruising to a 50.64a with no competitors close to his lead.
Dylan Beard ran the 400m and the 200m respectively running 54.5 and 23.8

July 23 - 26 2015 U.S. Elite Jrs. will travel to the East Coast Invitational to compete.
More info regarding travel housing and payment info will
be discussed at the July 1 practice.

The team and coaches will be renting a vacation home to sleep up to 8 people in order to cut costs. 2 Meals will be prepped at the home per day.

It's that time of year again! It's time to throw down for the crown of High School All American.
New Balance knows how to throw a party and the creme de la creme of high school track & field athletes are on the guest list. U.S. ELITE athletes are invited, and we are ready.
Dylan Beard has sent his RSVP and will be competing in the Emerging Elite 110HH
Nihgel Scott will be running the 400m leg of the Championship Section of the DMR.

Recreation Summer Track Series.
Meets begin July 2 at 6 p.m. @Northeast HS in Pasadena MD.
The series will continue every Thursday in July at the same time.

We had two great days of non stop track and field in our summer season debut, and we loved (& hated ) every scorching hot day of it!
Day 1 @AAU PVA district qualifier held at Oxon Hill HS resulted in Shaun Miller advancing to the Regional Qualifier.
Day 2 @PVA Open Champs was the debut of newest member of the OD club Marco Silvera. Marco is moving down to middle distance from his 5000m and 300m roots. It was a low key meet that we trained through, although we didn't get everything we came for, were blessed to have the chance to keep chasing our goals.
Down the road in Oxon Hill @AAU PVA day 2.... standout athlete Shaun Miller and our super duper Parent Liasion (whom was clutch in U.S. Elite's appearances of omnipresence B-) ) Shannon Miller were holding down the 400m Dash.
We're still awaiting confirmation, but think there may have been a PR!

Events will be run Saturday and Sunday. Both days start at 830 AM.
The coaches will determine what time athletes need to report to the track.
If club dues are paid infull, healthy snacks, water and recovery bars will be provided for competing athletes on race day.
Uniforms and accessories will be distributed for new athletes on race day if dues are paid in full.
Transportation will be discussed at practice today during a short team meeting.
Spectators are welcome and encouraged.
